Jazz Series – Elliot Mason & Sofija Knezevic

In 2007, Elliot Mason was invited by Wynton Marsalis to join the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, with which he continues to play. He has also performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, Branford Marsalis, and Chick Corea among others. He teaches at Northwestern University and New York University.
Recognized as one of jazz’s pre-eminent vocalists, young Sofija already has created her own distinctive sound that brings brilliance to every song she sings. While her singing is steeped in tradition, her improvisational virtuosity and creativity are breathtaking. Sofija is an Amazon Aid Foundation artist and is an ambassador of the International Child Art Foundation
