
“Art from the Imagination” is a celebration of creativity without boundaries—a collective exploration of the limitless landscapes that exist within the human mind. This open-themed exhibition invites artists to share works born from personal vision, emotion, and curiosity, offering a glimpse into the diverse ways imagination takes form. Each piece in this exhibition stands as a testament to the power of artistic freedom, where technique meets intuition and concept merges with expression. From abstract compositions to surreal narratives, from vivid color studies to quiet reflections, the works presented reveal the unique voices of their creators and the infinite possibilities of artistic thought. “Art from the Imagination” encourages viewers to step beyond the familiar and engage with the unexpected. It is an invitation to experience art as a journey—one that begins in the artist’s mind and continues in the imagination of every observer.
“Art from the Imagination” is a free, open-call, non-juried, salon-style group art exhibition.
Art will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be included in the exhibition, artwork MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY to executivedirector@romeart.org by Friday, July 31, 2026.
Due to a priority on diversity of artists, please limit artwork to 3 pieces.
Please submit all work in JPG format, labeled with the title of the piece and dimensions, including the frame. For example: Ghostlylandscape22x36.jpg. Please reduce file sizes to a maximum of 2.5MB per photo.
All works must be ready for hanging/display at the time of delivery. (i.e., wired adequately for hanging, clean, etc.) Wall art must be appropriately framed or be ready for presentation if it is not already framed. Wires should not extend beyond the top of the frame as they cannot be shown during the exhibition, no clip frames.
Artwork must be delivered or mailed; late work will not be accepted. Work may be offered during business hours the week of. Be prepared to provide information about your work to complete a Loan Agreement at the time of delivery. The required information includes the artist’s name, address, phone number, title, year, medium, dimensions (including the frame), and price. Please use a removable sticker or a Post-it note to label your work on the front, so it will be easy for us to identify when hanging your labels. RACC will retain a 30% commission on artwork sold during the exhibition. No work may be removed before the closing date of the exhibition.
