DESCRIPTION:HEAR YE! Hear ye! To all who shall hear these present greetings know that after 10 years a Renaissance Fair is returning to the R.A.C.C.!It be true\, the Royalty & Rogues Festival will be at the Rome Art and Community Center this year.On September 28th & 29th in the year of the Lord 2024\, members of Royalty fresh from Warwickshire will meet to parley with and pirate Rogues and are inviting the lords\, ladies and wee folk of CNY to attend! \nAye! There be Kings\, Queens\, Princes\, Princesses\, Lords\, Ladies and Knights of the Realm rubbing shoulders with Pirates\, Privateers\, Wenches\, Gypies and Rogues to gather together on the lands for a grand time with the cream and the dregs o’ the crew. Avast! There will be regal entertainment by performers of greatness\, with grand feasting\, drinking\, and much merriment to be had by all.Listen for the call of the bagpipes to announce the opening of the grand marketplace where wares of all sorts can be found. Visit the Medieval Meadow to cheer on the steadfast Knights in combat. Feast on specialty food from local chefs and brew\, wine and mead from the 16 Stone Beer Brigantine. Minstrels and bards\, singing pirates and dancers all there for your enjoyment. Fighting knights\, magical slight o’ hand\, dancing lads and lasses\, music\, music\, music and so much more!Admission is $5 for teenagers and adults\, younger folk 10 years and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Service Dogs welcome.
