DESCRIPTION:Opening Reception: Saturday\, May 3 | 2:00 – 4:00 PMExhibition Dates: May 3 – 30\, 2025 \nThe Rome Art and Community Center is proud to present the first-ever All-Member Exhibition by the Central New York Watercolor Society (CNYWS)\, showcasing original works by both Associate and Signature members. This special exhibit will highlight the diverse talent within the society—from artists presenting their work publicly for the first time to those who have exhibited across New York State and beyond. \nFounded to support and promote the watercolor medium\, CNYWS encourages artists at all stages of creative development\, offering mentorship opportunities through a Signature Member mentor program. The society’s Signature Members have earned this designation through a juried evaluation of six original works\, assessed on technical proficiency\, design\, and artistic voice. These members are also eligible to pursue Medallion status through continued exhibition excellence. \nMany pieces will be available for purchase\, offering art lovers a chance to take home one-of-a-kind works by emerging and established artists. \nThe exhibit is co-chaired by CNYWS President Kathleen Guthrie\, along with members Denise Ernst and Lynne Reichhart. \nJoin us at the opening reception on May 3 from 2 to 4 PM to meet the artists and explore the vibrant range of watercolor talent across Central New York. \nFor more about CNYWS\, visit centralnewyorkwatercolorsociety.org.
