DESCRIPTION:Jazz Concert and Jam 6:30 PM to 8:30PM forth Monday of each month.\n \nApril 28 – JAM! April is Jazz Appreciation Month \nOur JAM concert includes musical tributes to the evolution of jazz in the 1960’s-70’s\, which the emergence of Latin-inspired jazz and jazz fusion. We will play tunes and pay tribute to influential artists of this time including Herbie Hancock\, Miles Davis\, Horace Silver\, Oliver Nelson and many more. As an additional treat\, students from local school jazz music programs will join us to ‘jam.’ It will be a great celebration of jazz! Sponsored by the Music Performance Trust Fund of the American Federation of Musicians Local 78. \n\n\nDoors open and 6\nConcert at 6:30\n\n\nFree Admission (A suggested $5 donation at door to support the Rome Art and Community Center)\nBeer and wine available for a donation.
