Enjoy Red Bandana at the RACC, Monday, June 1st at 6:30 PM!

Red Bandana is a group of Central New York musicians and friends, who got together for a one-time gig, back in 2022. They had so much fun, they decided to form this band. Almost four years have passed and they are still making music together.

A blend of Folk-Rock and Americana, Red Bandana covers a wide assortment of older and newer tunes, from Patsy Cline and Fats Domino, to singer songwriters such as Neil Young, Gillian Welch, and Lucinda Williams. With their versatile instrumentals, unique arrangements, sweet harmonies, and fun loving spirit, they are sure to please and entertain.

Outside on the RACC lawn if weather permits so bring a chair or blanket!

$5 donation at the door, drinks available for a donation!

The Summer Music Series is sponsored by Beacon Bank and Baird Private Wealth Management.

Biography:

Annette Gurdo, on lead vocals, guitar and mandolin, and Mike Bondy with his lead vocals and rhythm guitar, were past members of local favorite, Black Tail Rat. Chris Pepe, who plays banjo and upright bass, and adds backing vocals, is also a member of the folk/bluegrass band, Cincinnati Creek. Daniel Stone, a seasoned local musician, contributes lead and harmony vocals, and multiple instruments- mandolin, lead guitar and upright bass. John Foppes joined the group in 2023 with his tenor sax, adding a cool dimension to the mix.

“Center Centric” is a group art exhibition that honors the Rome Art and Community Center as both muse and meeting ground—a place where art not only adorns walls but also shapes lives. This exhibition brings together artists whose works reflect the spirit, history, and vitality of the Center, capturing its role as a cornerstone of artistic expression and community engagement. Through painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, Center Centric explores the many ways the Rome Art and Community Center inspires creation and collaboration. Each piece serves as a visual dialogue between the artist and the place, celebrating the Center’s enduring influence as a hub of imagination and shared experience.
