DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to attend and dance in an atmosphere that fits all skill levels from beginners to experienced dancers. Our instructors from 315 Dance do an amazing job and create a class that makes everyone want to leave their living room and dance  together . So don’t miss out!!\nThe Month of September will be West Coast Swing Dance!!\nClasses will be taught by Marty Comstock\, GDPIA Certified\, and Lili Piplica the fabulous instructors from 315 Dance.\nDance Class – 6:30pm\nOpen Dance – 8:00pm\n$15 for the evening\n$5 for just open dance\nSave $10 when registering for the whole month in advance!\nAccording to Jason Tockey the executive director – “Dancing has a way of helping people build connections and community. Having Westie Wednesdays here at the RACC has helped us build friendships with a new group of people who are connected to each other through the shared experience of learning and socializing together. SUMMARY:Jam with The Band - The Boom Chickens
DESCRIPTION:Jam with The Band is back!!! \nEvery second Monday of the month the Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association joins us for a concert and Jam Session.\nDoors open at 6:30pm\n$5 suggested donation\nBeer\, wine\, and refreshments will be available by donation.\nMusicians who play bluegrass music are encouraged to bring their instruments to join in and jam with the band after the concert. Our host for the evening and leading the jam session is Bill Fahy.\nThe first one of the season will feature The Boom Chickens!!\nThe Boom Chickens are a local\, free range folk trio based out of Utica\, NY. Their upbeat shows treat audiences to a mix of original tunes\, folk classics\, and acoustic covers— all delivered with their signature three-part harmonies and creative instrumental arrangements. These long-time friends bring a joyful energy to their shows\, drawing listeners in with a mix of earnest sensitivity and raucous play.
