March 24 – Tribute to Great Women in Jazz
March is Women’s History Month! This concert includes musical tributes to great women in jazz of the past, including Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Marian McPartland, Alice Coltrane, Dorothy Ashby, Edith Piaf, and Dorothy Fields; as well as modern-day artists Anat Cohen and Jean Fineberg. Sponsored by the Music Performance Trust Fund of the American Federation of Musicians Local 78.
