This exhibition brings together a diverse group of photographers whose lenses capture the interplay between reality and illusion, presence and perception. Each image invites contemplation of what lies beyond the visible\u2014windows that double as portals, water that fractures the familiar, glass that reframes the ordinary. The reflections become storytellers, offering glimpses into hidden emotions, fleeting encounters, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough the Reflection\u201d is a free, open-call, non-juried, salon-style group art exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>Art will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p>To be included in the exhibition, artwork <strong>MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY to executivedirector@romeart.org by Friday, May 8, 2026. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to a priority on diversity of artists, please limit artwork to 3 pieces. Please submit all work in JPG format, labeled with the title of the piece and dimensions, including the frame. For example: Ghostlylandscape22x36.jpg. Please reduce file sizes to a maximum of 2.5MB per photo.<\/p>\n<p>All works must be ready for hanging\/display at the time of delivery. (i.e., wired adequately for hanging, clean, etc.)\u00a0 Wall art must be appropriately framed or be ready for presentation if it is not already framed. Wires should not extend beyond the top of the frame as they cannot be shown during the exhibition, no clip frames.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Artwork must be delivered or mailed; late work will not be accepted. Work may be offered during business hours the week of. Be prepared to provide information about your work to complete a Loan Agreement at the time of delivery.
