This exhibition brings together artists whose works reflect the spirit, history, and vitality of the Center, capturing its role as a cornerstone of artistic expression and community engagement. Through painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, Center Centric explores the many ways the Rome Art and Community Center inspires creation and collaboration. Each piece serves as a visual dialogue between the artist and the place, celebrating the Center\u2019s enduring influence as a hub of imagination and shared experience. The exhibition invites viewers to rediscover the Center not just as a building, but as a living canvas\u2014one that continues to nurture creativity and bring people together through the transformative power of art.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCenter Centric\u201d is a free, open-call, non-juried, salon-style group art exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>Art will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p>To be included in the exhibition, artwork<strong> MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY to executivedirector@romeart.org by Friday, June 5, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to a priority on diversity of artists, please limit artwork to 3 pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit all work in JPG format, labeled with the title of the piece and dimensions, including the frame. For example: Ghostlylandscape22x36.jpg. Please reduce file sizes to a maximum of 2.5MB per photo.<\/p>\n<p>All works must be ready for hanging\/display at the time of delivery. (i.e., wired adequately for hanging, clean, etc.)\u00a0 Wall art must be appropriately framed or be ready for presentation if it is not already framed. Wires should not extend beyond the top of the frame as they cannot be shown during the exhibition, no clip frames.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Artwork must be delivered or mailed; late work will not be accepted. Work may be offered during business hours the week of. Be prepared to provide information about your work to complete a Loan Agreement at the time of delivery.
