Each exhibit is kicked off in style with a lovely free reception, held the first evening of the exhibit typically from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The general public is always welcome to attend each opening reception. Exhibiting artists are on site during these receptions to meet the public, answer questions, and to discuss their works. Light refreshments are served.
Gallery One is considered the main gallery- our largest space. This gallery is often used for accomplished artists with a large body of work, or group exhibitions. Gallery Two is a lovely bright space with quaint architectural details. This space is used for various artists during the year. The Panasci Memorial Gallery space displays works from local artists with a smaller body of work. The Peach- Lynch, Library Gallery is the only gallery space located on the first floor of the main building and maintains the original charm of this historic building . This space features original hardwood paneling, a fireplace with a carved mantel and was once the favorite room of original owner Mr. Arthur Carpenter.
Artwork on display in the galleries is always for sale, unless otherwise marked. Art sales not only support our exhibiting artists, but a portion of the sales aid Center operations. Artwork can be purchased with a deposit on the day of the sale, with the balance paid prior to artwork pick up. All artwork must remain on display in the gallery until the exhibit comes to an end. Student art is not for sale in most cases. Accessibility Information
Galleries are accessible to those with special needs, including those with wheelchairs via an elevator. It is important to note, however, that because the galleries are located inside of a historic building, some doorways do not exceed 32 inches. If you have questions as to whether the galleries will be accessible to you or a party member, please contact the office in advance. Necessary arrangements will be made whenever possible. Several group exhibitions are held at RACC each year, including the long-standing Regional Fine Arts Exhibition, the Recycled Art Challenge, and the Figurative Annual. Refer to the events calendar for dates. Entry forms will be available in the RACC office and can be e-mailed to interested parties. Interested in exhibiting at RACC?
